OUR MISSION
We are a private organization, with binational vocation, non-profit and of permanent character, with the purpose of supporting the consolidation of bilateral relations between Colombia and Japan, as well as to support, promote and watch over the interests of commercial, cultural and general investment of bilateral integration between Colombia and Japan.
VISION
The CCJCI will be a competitive and active entity in the development of the internationalization of Colombian and Japanese companies with the purpose of generating, promoting, maintaining and strengthening bilateral relations. By 2025 it will be a support entity for MSMEs interested in Japan, as well as large companies, with additional activities such as trade and cultural missions.

Experience
We have been establishing, strengthening and promoting relations with Japan since 1988, and throughout this time we have gained great experience in facilitating bilateral relations between Colombia and Japan.

Not only experience, but we have surrounded ourselves with great allies and have cultivated strong ties that allow us to bring the culture and industries of these two countries ever closer together.

We know that doing business with Japan is a challenge, and many companies may consider it an unattainable, risky or very complicated task. But, with our experience, the ties we create and the knowledge we have, we can assure to be of great help to all those interested in undertaking this journey.
FOUNDATION
The Chamber was created on May 10, 1988, with the need to strengthen the ties of friendship between the two nations, to serve as a consultative body for the government, institutes and state agencies of Colombia and Japan and to support binational economic, commercial, industrial and tourism interests.
